A fully online version of our Cancer Research UK endorsed training course for experienced bra fitters who wish to train to offer an expert bra fitting service to women after breast cancer.
This course can be completed from anywhere in the world, remotely, in your own time and is designed for independent bra fitters and stores (please contact us for our remote course for larger businesses and brands.)
This course will enable you to:
•Recap on the key principles of expert bra fitting in a ‘standard scenario’
•Learn how to adapt the bra fitting process for women during and after breast cancer
•Learn how to undertake a bra fitting & follow the step-by-step bra fitting process for women after mastectomy, lumpectomy, reconstruction & with and without a prothesis
•Understand the nuances in spotting a well and ill fitting bra for women after breast cancer
•Develop post cancer bra fitting expertise - customer service & etiquette in a specialist/sensitive situation; key post breast cancer scenarios (mastectomy, lumpectomy, with & without protheses & reconstructions) and appropriate bras for each scenario & body shape; post breast cancer bra features & components, protheses, balancers and breast forms; ‘standard’ bras that may also be suitable for women after breast cancer
•Observe bra fitting on real life models via our bra fitting video
•Receive handy reminder checklists & an action plan to follow to embed your training after the course
If you choose to also book an online bra fitting assessment, this will allow you to upgrade to fully certified CRUK endorsed bra fitter status & become a full member of the Better Bras community.
