Our Signature Face to Face Training Course: Expert Bra fitting for Women During and After Breast Cancer, with Cancer Research UK endorsement & membership of the Better Bras Community.
An in-person training course held in a group format at Cancer Research UK Headquarters.
Designed for experienced professional bra fitters who wish to deepen their post breast cancer bra fitting skills , experience, understanding & network as well as gain practical support & tips to run a successful business as a post breast cancer bra fitter.
Course contents:
How to offer a professional bra fitting service for women during or after Breast Cancer – including mastectomy, lumpectomy, prothesis fitting & reconstruction
An Education in Breast Cancer – to help trainees develop real expertise
Practical bra fitting on women who have undergone breast cancer using market leading products from specialists such as Anita, Royce, Amoena, HER Bodywear, AnaOno, Megami, Boost and Evenly as well as mainstream established lingerie brands such as Panache & Curvy Kate who offer styles that many women are surprised to discover may be suitable, giving a wider choice .
Discussion sessions with breast cancer survivors about the reality of bra shopping after breast cancer
How to deliver superior customer service in the specialist and often sensitive situations of women with breast cancer
How to set up links to local breast cancer nurses & hospitals & introduction to each trainee’s local hospital and cancer care teams by Cancer Research UK
How to buy the right selection of bras , without breaking the bank
Introductions to key brands and suppliers of post breast cancer bras, protheses and related cancer care products
